Greetings from Apnatva!
Apnatva completed its 7th year and since the first year we have faced many challenges in terms of recognition in the society but that didn’t stop us from achieving what we have planned and we let our work speak for us.
Apnatva before its inception as a centre for children with special needs was an idea to provide a space to differently abled children where they can grow and glow as individuals. Each child has a unique capability if nurtured and cared they can develop and be best versions of themselves. There are 78.64 lakh children suffering with some disability in India and these children face major discrimination by society, peers and their family on regular basis which affect them adversely which was the breakthrough to bring about a change and provide these children a healthy environment and Apnatva’s aim is to provide that environment.
I believe that there is no short cut to help children learn and grow with values like moral, ethics, honesty etc. These things can only be achieved through consistent efforts to grow a little bit every day. We provide therapy and concept based academic learning and focus on activities and concepts that are important to lead an independent/ self-dependent and an inclusive life
We have come a long way since we started and it was possible with the support of our dear parents, donors and our trustee no matter what we need, they will provide us with the necessary resources.
We are looking forward to grow and work together for the welfare of our children. Once a child is associated with Apnatva, that child becomes our child and we don’t compromise for the welfare of our children and we are ready to fight any battle.
